Entry Doors
What are Entry Doors?
Entry doors provide passage between a house and an outdoor space or garage. They typically feature one or multiple panels that swing open and closed on hinges. Entry doors are commonly made of wood, fiberglass, composite, aluminum, or steel. Unlike interior swinging doors, entry doors have weatherstripping and a threshold, which provide protection from harsh weather conditions.
They are also equipped with keyed locks and deadbolts to prevent break-ins. An entry door can feature glass in the panel and can be combined with transom and sidelight windows to allow natural light indoors and improve views.
